China: Explosion in chemical factory leaves 2 killed, 3 missing


(MENAFN) Early on Saturday, Apr. 17 an explosion that happened in a chemical factory in Taiyuan, capital of north China's Shanxi Province left two people killed and another three were reported missing.

The explosion took place in a workshop of Taiyuan Xing'an Chemical Plant at 8:36 a.m. Saturday, said the municipal administration's information office.

The reason behind the explosion is under probe.
