Jordan spends JD 88.000 for studies of tunnel at intersection in Amman

(MENAFN)The government wasted JD 88,000 (about USD124,118) to perform studies for the construction of a tunnel at the intersection of Khreibet Al-Souq in Amman with no result, thus deeming it useless, stated MP Khair Abu Sa’ilik in parliamentary oversight hearing.

The government vowed to establish a tunnel for the past 11 years and spent JD 88,000 out of the assigned JD 91,000 for the study, only to find out the existence of a Disi water line, he further said.

He told the Minister of Public Works, Yahya al-Kasabi, to submit teams from the competent authorities to evaluate the spending of the sums.
