Mongolia-China frontier port witnesses augmenting fruit, vegetable exports


(MENAFN) On Thursday, Jan. 21, local authorities stated that fruit and vegetable exports to Mongolia over the frontier port of Erenhot in north China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region witnessed a rise last year.

The overall fruit and vegetable exports over the port stood at 97,000 tonnes, with the sales amount hitting 120 million yuan (around USD18.58 million) in 2020, a rise by 5.7 percent and 12.4 percent year on year, each.

The Erenhot Port is the biggest land port on the frontier between both Mongolia and China.
