(MENAFN)According to official statistics, the number of foreign tourists to Mongolia in 2020 fell by 89.5 percent from the past year because of the coronavirus pandemic.
Mongolia got a total of 66,900 foreign tourists last year, the National Statistics Office stated on Monday, January 11.
The sharp drop in foreign traveler arrivals is straight linked to the prolonged measures to control the international coronavirus outburst, according to the office.
