Economic, legal reforms proposed by key businessmen in Turkey


(MENAFN)OnFriday, top Turkish officials assembled with key business leaders, working on a determined slate of economic and legal reforms.

Lutfi Elvan, the treasury and finance minister, and the justice minister AbdulhamitGul, assembled with leaders of the Independent Industrialists and Businessmen's Association (MUSIAD).

The head of MUSIAD, Abdurrahman Kaan, and top ministry officials participated with the closed-door summit.

"We are very pleased that solutions in the field of Economy and the law in our country are being handled in a constructive environment of consultation," declared Simon Kaslowski, head of TUSIAD, after the summit.

He further said that, "We think reforms in these areas will be very important in terms of the investment climate and an environment of trust."
