Ukraine's retail trade turnover grows 7.3% - State Statistics Service


(MENAFN- UkrinForm) Retail trade turnover of retail trade enterprises in Ukraine grew by 7.3%, to UAH 697.98 billion, in January-October 2020 compared to the relevant period in 2019, according to the data provided by the State Statistics Service.

The largest volumes of retail sales in January-October 2020 were recorded in Kyiv city (almost UAH 160.80 bln), Dnipropetrovsk region (UAH 69.83 billion), Kyiv region (UAH 62.76 billion), Odesa region (UAH 54.82).

The lowest volumes of retail sales in January-October 2020 were recorded in Luhansk region (UAH 4.88 bln), Chernivtsi region (UAH 6.59 bln), and Ternopil region (UAH 7.64 bln).

As Ukrinform reported, retail trade turnover of retail trade enterprises (legal entities) in Ukraine in 2019 reached UAH 795.20 billion, which is 11.6% (in comparative prices) higher than in 2018.
