Iraq: military plane crash kills pilot, co-pilot


(MENAFN) The Iraqi military has released, on Saturday, October 31st, that during a training mission in Salahudin, there was a plane crash that killed two of its team members.

The media office of the Joint Operations Command reported that a technical error happened in the Cessna Caravan which later lit on fire and crashed in Saiyd Mohammed area close to the town of Balad, almost 90 kilometers north of Baghdad.

According to reports the accident was the cause of death of the pilot and his co-pilot.
