Jordan- Algeria reports 214 COVID-19 infections, 9 fatalities


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Oct. 19 (Petra) -- Some 214 COVID-19 cases were recorded in Algeria on Monday, pushing the caseload to more than 54,600, according to the Algeria Press Service.
Nine people succumbed to the lung disease within the last 24 hours as the death toll in the North Africa country surpasses 1,865, the news agency cited the Coronavirus Monitoring and Follow-up Committee as saying.
