(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Oct. 10 (Petra) -- Competent authorities said the lockdown and comprehensive curfew that was placed on areas in Zarqa, Ma'an, Balqa (Baqa' camp) and Karak, will be lifted as of Sunday morning.
The authorities called on residents of these areas to adhere to preventive measures, especially wearing masks and avoiding gatherings in light of the widespread of infections in all areas of the Kingdom.
They underlined that they will continue to follow up and evaluate epidemiological indicators in all areas of the Kingdom, including hot areas that are witnessing a rise in the number of infections, to impose any necessary measures to limit the acceleration of infection with the coronavirus.
