(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) BAGHDAD, SepT 25 (KUNA) -- Iraqآ's Health Ministry On Friday confirmed 68 deaths and 4,593 new cases of COVID-19, accumulating the total to 341,699 which includes the Kurdistan Region.
A statement by the Health Ministry most of the cases were in Baghdad, 1,546, followed by Basra with 417, Awsat Province with 376, and 14 spread across the rest of the provinces.
They also pointed to the 68 deaths recorded of which five were in Baghdad, while the rest were scattered in 16 other provinces, and that 3,505 patients recovered.
The total sum of individuals hit by the virus across the country (including Kurdistan region) rose to 341,699 of which 273,266 recovered and 8,867 deceased. (end)
