Jordan- Morocco, Algeria report 25, 7 COVID-19 fatalities respectively


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Sep. 21 (Petra) -- Morocco reported 25 COVID-19 fatalities on Monday as the death toll tops 1,855, according to the Maghreb Arabe Press (MAP).
A total of 1,376 COVID-19 cases were recorded within the last 24 hours, pushing the caseload in the North Africa country to 103,119, MAP cited the Moroccan Health Ministry as saying.
In neighboring Algeria, 7 COVID-19 deaths were reported today as the tally tops 1,679, according to the Algeria Press Service.
More than 195 COVID-19 cases were recorded in country within the last 24 hours, pushing the caseload in the republic to some 50,020, the news agency cited the Coronavirus Monitoring and Follow-up Committee in Algeria as saying.
