(MENAFN) Turkey on Monday criticized a new declaration by Bahrain's Foreign Ministry which critiqued comments made by Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar.
Turkey's National Defense Ministry stated in a report "The statement by Bahrain's Foreign Ministry on National Defense Minister Hulusi Akar's response to questions during an interview with Al Jazeera TV broadcast on July 31 does not reflect the truth".
Akar told Al Jazeera on Friday that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has devoted hateful doings in Syria and Libya and the UAE will be held responsible at the right place and time.
On Sunday, Bahrain's Foreign Ministry labeled Akar's declaration as "hostile" and an "unacceptable provocation."
