Protests in Denmark against Israeli occupation plan


(MENAFN) Hundreds of pro-Palestine demonstrators walked through the streets of the Danish capital, Copenhagen, to express refusal of the Israeli annexation plan and the apartheid performs of the Israeli government in occupied Palestine.

The march start out at Israel Square in Copenhagen and stopped at the courtyard of the Danish Parliament, where public speakers judged the Israeli plan to annex portions of the West Bank and called on the Danish government to stand on the side of the Palestinian people and pressure the Israeli government to stand by international resolves.

The protesters waved the Palestine flags and shouted mottoes in support of the Palestinian right to self-determination and required the acknowledgment of an independent State of Palestine. They also waved posters criticizing the Israeli occupation and demanding the Danish government to take a strict and clear stand on Israel's annexation plan, as well as to reflect boycott of apartheid Israel.
