(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Aqaba, May 21 (Petra) -- People coming into the southern city of Aqaba from coronavirus-hit cities will be required to undergo PCR medical check and disclose whether they have been exposed to coronavirus positive patients.
Aqaba Governor, Ghassan Al-Kayed, on Thursday affirmed that whoever later proves he concealed the truth and violated the instructions will be legally held accountable in accordance with the defense orders.
"These measures come within the framework of protecting Aqaba from the virus after the government's decision to ease the lockdown measures in southern provinces where no coronavirus cases have been recorded," he added.
