(MENAFN) On Wednesday, the Syrian Health Ministry affirmed in a statement the existence of four new coronavirus cases in the country.
The statement added that the total number of infected people in Syria reached 33, five of them were successfully recovered and two of them were passed away.
It is worth mentioning that the Syrian government has took a series of measures to limit the spread of the novel coronavirus, including imposing partial curfew, suspending schools and universities, and shuttering non-essential businesses.
