Qatar- Vodafone activates unlimited local data, free calls for COVID-19 frontline workers

Doha: Vodafone Qatar yesterday announced it is showing its appreciation and unlimited thanks to the men and women working tirelessly to keep Qatar safe amidst the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, by making sure they have the connectivity they need to do their lifesaving work. 

As a gesture of support and as part of its commitment to keep Qatar connected, Vodafone has activated Unlimited Local Data and Calls for 30 days for free for all eligible employees of the following entities: Ministry of Interior, Qatar Armed Forces, Civil Defence, Hamad Medical Corporation, Amiri Guard, Qatar Airways, Lekhwiya, State Security Bureau, Schools, Ministry of Education and Higher Education, Ministry of Public Health and Primary Health Care Corporation.

In a statement, Vodafone Qatar said: 'To all those working around the clock to keep us safe, we say thank you. They deserve our deepest gratitude for their great service to our beloved Qatar as part of our national emergency response to the coronavirus. In appreciation of their sacrifices, we extend this small gesture to help keep them connected over these next days and weeks.

Employees belonging to the above mentioned entities will be receiving this offer automatically while some employees will be receiving an SMS message to activate the offer.
