Jordan- Prince Feisal receives delegation form Japan's Noshiro


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Jan. 30 (Petra) - HRH Prince Feisal, President of the Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC), and member of the International Olympic Committee, yesterday received a delegation from the Japanese city of Noshiro, which is hosting the Jordanian delegation participating in the Olympic and Paralympic Games that will be held in the Japanese capital of Tokyo in July.
The delegation included the mayor of Noshiro Saito and Japan Ambassador to Jordan Hidenao Yanagi, in addition to a number of Japanese figures supervising the Olympic Games.
Prince Feisal discussed with the delegation the preparations of Tokyo to host the Olympic Games, which is expected to involve more than 11 thousand players, representing 206 countries from the five continents.
The meeting dealt with preparations of the city of Noshiro to host the Jordanian team participating in the organizing committee's plan to support participating countries in the games.
The Prince lauded Japan's preparations to host the Olympic Games, wishing success to Tokyo and affirming deep-rooted ties between Jordan and Japan at all levels.
