(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) The Abu Dhabi Police on Sunday urged all motorists to stop their vehicles if they see the 'Stop' sign at a road intersection.
The police warned that ignoring the 'Stop' sign could lead to dangerous accidents.
The police said that vehicles merging from the side roads to the main roads should halt at the 'Stop' sign behind the white line, and wait for vehicles on the main road to pass first. A violation of this rule attracts a fine of Dh500.
