The actress also unveiled a teaser poster of the movie, and captioned it as, "She was extraordinary, in every sense of the word!"
In the film, Vidya plays the titular character, and the first look has her flaunting a bob cut.

According to media reports, the movie will hit the floors today, and will be shot in London.
Needless to say, Vidya is excited to essay the role of "the human computer" on the big screen.
The Parineeta actress had earlier admitted that "her (Shakuntala's) magnetic personality and the life that she led," were the reasons why she gave a nod to the movie.
