(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Amman, Sept. 10 (Petra) -- Chief Commissioner of the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC), Captain Haitham Mesto, on Tuesday announced the license renewal of the King Hussein International Airport.
After carrying out technical inspections, the CARC found that the airport met all of commission's requirements as well as international standards, Mesto said.
Last July, the CARC authorized the Aqaba-based airport to operate until it meets certain regulatory and technical requirements, which do not affect aviation safety, before renewing its license.
