26 percent jump in Iranian exports value to Iraq via Mehran


(MENAFN) Iran registered a 26 percent jump in its exports to Iraq via Mehran border in terms of value and a surge by 43 percent in terms of weight during the first four months of this Iranian year.

During the March 21-July 21 period, Iranian exports of products to Iraq through the border stood at 630,000 tons.

Using Mehran border, 1,000 trucks are moving per day, as affirmed Director General of Ilam Customs Office, Rouhollah Gholami.

"About 630,000 tons of goods, valued at $404 million, were exported to neighboring Iraq in the same period," Gholami added.
