Kuwaiti woman put behind bars for humiliating and attacking police


(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY, Aug 13: A Kuwaiti woman has been arrested and put behind bars for humiliating and attacking police, reports Al-Rai daily. According to security sources police on duty ordered the young woman behind the wheel to pull over for reckless driving.

The woman had her boyfriend in the passenger car and he was wanted by law and had been sentenced in absentia in money matters, while the woman was also not holding her identification documents. They were taken to the police station and during interrogation she allegedly attacked and humiliated the officers on duty.

They were also reportedly drunk and police have seized from them a bottle containing some kind of liquid believed to be an alcoholic beverage. The boyfriend has been handed over to the Sentences Enforcement Department.
