Kuwait oil price up USD 1.37 to USD 65.69 pb


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, July 11 (KUNA) -- The price of Kuwaiti oil went up USD 1.37 to USD 65.69 per barrel (pb) Wednesday, after being at USD 64.32 pb last Tuesday, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) Thursday.
In global markets, oil prices jumped 4.5 percent on Wednesday, their highest level in more than a month after US government data showed a sharp fall in crude stocks, as well as major producers cut output from offshore fields in the Gulf of Mexico by a third ahead of a forecasted storm.
Brent Blend crude rose USD 2.85 to reach USD 67.01 pb, same as the West Texas Intermediate, which went up USD 2.60 to reach USD 60.43 pb. (end)
