Decrease in Malaysia's palm oil stocks


(MENAFN) Official data confirmed on Wednesday that, Malaysia saw its palm oil stores ease 0.97 percent month-on-month to 2.42 million tons in June, Malaysia is the world's second largest palm oil maker.

Country's crude palm oil (CPO) production also decreased by 9.17 percent month-on-month to 1.52 million tons as the Malaysian Palm Oil Board (MPOB) statistics showed.
Meanwhile, palm oil exports turned down 19.35 percent month-on-month to 1.38 million tons.


Even though Malaysia's palm oil exports to China cut down to 107,634 tons in June, from 127,155 tons in May, its total export for first half rose 16.32 percent year-on-year to 1.01 million tons.
