(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, June 30 (KUNA) -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received at Bayan Palace, Sunday, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah.
His Highness the Amir also received National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim who was accompanied by members of the committee tasked with replying to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah's address during the 13th regular session of the 15th legislative term.
The committee included chairman MP Dr. Khalil Abol and MPs Dr. Hamad Al-Harshani, Dr. Awadha Al-Ruwai'e, and Safa Al-Hashim as members.
His Highness the Amir provided the committee with directives aimed at achieving citizens' aspirations and interests through the cooperation between legislative and executive authorities.
Speaker of the National Assembly Al-Ghanim assured His Highness the Amir that parliament will do what is necessary to follow up on his directives.
Meanwhile, His Highness the Amir received His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Jaber Al-Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and First Deputy Prime Minister and Defense Minister Sheikh Nasser Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah.
His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad also met with outgoing Georgian ambassador to Kuwait Roland Beridze.
The meeting was attended by acting Minister of the Amiri Diwan Khaled Budai. (end) gta
