GCC Common Market Committee holds its 26th meeting in Muscat

The twenty sixth meeting of the GCC Common market Committee was held at the headquarters of the GCC Statistical Center in Muscat on Sunday.


The meeting discussed a number of important topics including the decision of the financial Cooperation Committee to mandate the GCC Secretariat General to prepare for a discussion session for the deputies of the finance ministries in the GCC countries to follow up the GCC common market issues and mechanisms to support and activate the committee's work.

The meeting also discussed the GCC common market issues before the relevant committees, as well as the secretariat's proposal on developing solutions to the obstacles facing the GCC common market.

The meeting included presentations from the GCC Statistical Center, which was to hold a workshop on June 17 and 18 at its premises, and a detailed performance chart in the ten areas of the GCC common market.
