Geneva:A delegation from Qatar has participated in the annual international solidarity forum with the workers and people of Palestine and the occupied Arab territories, on the sidelines of the 108th session of the International Labor Conference held in Geneva, Switzerland.-

The delegation was headed by Minister of Administrative Development, Labour and Social Affairs H E Yousef bin Mohammed Al Othman Fakhro.-

The Forum stressed the need to give full support to the Palestinian cause and condemn the Israeli occupation, and expose the practices of the Israeli authorities against the Palestinian people and other Arab countries. It also stressed the importance of providing full support to the operating fund and the production parties in Palestine so that they can face the occupation and violations by some countries of the legal and religious status of Jerusalem.-

The meeting was attended by Prime Minister of the Palestinian Authority, Mohammad Shtayyeh, Director General of the ILO, Guy Ryder, and more than 400 participants including ministers and heads of labour organisations.-
