Ferrari to recall vehicles in China for faulty airbags

(MENAFN) Ferrari has announced a recall of 2,071 imported vehicles in China due to faulty airbags.

Starting next month, the recall will involve a number of imported Ferraris manufactured between April 8, 2013 and Nov. 28, 2017.

The State Administration for Market Regulation said the front passenger airbags, produced by Japanese manufacturer Takata, have faulty inflators that could fracture and cause injuries.

The company said that it will replace the faulty airbags free of charge.
