Morocco, Guinea sign mining agreement


(MENAFN) Morocco secured with Guinea a deal to strengthen their bilateral relations and collaboration in mining and geology fields.

Aziz Rabbah, Moroccan Minister of Energy, signed the cooperation agreement with his Guinean counterpart Abdoulaye Magassouba.

Under the document, the Moroccan minister affirmed, the two sides will have the potential to come up with a roadmap on the matter.

Rabbah added that he addressed with his Guinean counterpart the idea of exchanging information between the two countries under the framework of cooperation.

Magassouba also described the meeting with Rabbah as means to boost mining cooperation with an aim to launch joint projects related to the sector.
