(MENAFN- Colombo Gazette) A massive search operation is underway in Colombo with vehicles and some buildings being checked.
Road blocks have been placed around Colombo and some houses are also being checked.
The search operation has been launched following fears that suspects linked to the terror network involved in the Easter Sunday bombing could be in the city.
A suspicious vehicle in Katunayake was searched and the road near the airport was closed but the area was later cleared.
The Police urged the public not to panic and to assist the Police in the operations. (Colombo Gazette)
