Kuwaiti Amb. to Saudi Arabia praises The Eighties theatrical show


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) RIYADH, March 11 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Sheikh Ali Khaled Al-Sabah praised the theatrical performance (The Eighties) as a wonderful model of Kuwaiti art.

In a statement to KUNA on Monday, the Ambassador said that art, culture and media are considered bright facades reflecting the thought and progress of societies.

He pointed out that the "The Eighties," which presented a number of performances in Saudi Arabia, was transferred to the current generation, to show a glance of the Kuwaiti golden age.

Al-Sabah expressed his sincere thanks to the team that presented this beautiful performance and the Head of financial and administrative affairs at the Kuwaiti Amiri Diwan Abdulaziz Is-haq, praising the outstanding efforts made by the Saudi Chairman of General Entertainment Authority Turki Al-Sheikh to launch a number of cultural and artistic forums.

The Eighties presents features excerpts from programs, series, advertisements and songs that have been in everyone's minds since the 1980s in the Gulf Area. (end) mdm.aa
