While there were speculations about her death, it was later reported that Sridevi died due to accidental drowning in the bathtub.

The media reports also suggested that she was getting ready for dinner with Boney Kapoor on that fateful night.

Just before the unfortunate day, Sridevi took it to Instagram to share a family picture from Marwah's wedding in Dubai.

In the picture, the late actress was all smiles as she posed with husband Boney, daughter Khushi Kapoor, and other relatives.

The picture spoke volumes about Sridevi's family love. She also used a 'heart emoticon' as the caption.

Sridevi's untimely demise made all eyes wet. Her fans and cinephiles are still mourning the loss.

Meanwhile, Boney had organized a pooja at Sridevi's Chennai home on February 14 to mark her first death anniversary.

According to the traditional calendar, February 14 was Sridevi's death anniversary.

The pooja was attended by Boney, daughters Khushi and Janhvi, Anil and Sunita Kapoor.

Meanwhile, Anil Kapoor dismissed the reports of the sequel of his cult classic Mr. India also starring Sridevi.

Notably, Boney had announced the sequel in 2012.

However, after Sridevi's demise, Anil stated that he won't be making a sequel just for the sake of it.

"We haven't cracked a story yet. Also, both Sridevi and Amrish Puri are irreplaceable," Anil added.
