Magnitude 5.1 earthquake hits Arabian Sea, no tsumani risk: Met Oman


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Muscat- An earthquake of the magnitude 5.1 struck Arabian Sea at a depth of 10km, 200km East-southeast of Haswayn in Yemen, around 4.30 pm on Wednesday.

The Directorate General of Meteorology said that there was no risk of a tsunami from the earthquake.

'There is no potential for a tsunami due to an earthquake in Owen Fracture Zone Region,' the Met Department said. .
