Libya urges security, military unity

(MENAFN) Security and army coordination must be formed in order to tackle terrorism and violence in Libya, stressed the UN-backed government.

It comes while eastern-based military forces carry on with their operation to wipe out terrorists in the south of Libya.

In a statement, the Libyan government highlighted the significant of "constitutional and legal cooperation to build a democratic civil state."

It added: "we believe that all parties have learned the lesson and become aware of the severe consequences of continued division. It is time to resort to reason now that the road toward stability is clear, and everyone has realized that there is no military solution to the crisis."
