Head of State dismisses, appoints vice governors


(MENAFN- EIN) Luanda, ANGOLA, February 16 - The Angolan Head of State, João Lourenço, on Friday dismissed the vice governor of the southern Cunene Province for political, social and economic matters, as well as the vice governor for technical services and infrastructures, respectively Albertina Teresa José and Feliciano Salomão Himulova. ,

On a different dispatch, President João Lourenço appointed Soraya Teresa de Jesus Mateus as vice governor of the mentioned province for political, social and economic matters, as well as Édio Gentil Saumbwako José as vice governor for or technical services and infrastructures.

Te dismissed vice governors had been appointed to the post on 25 October 2017.

The Cunene Province is currently being led by the former ruling party MP Vigílio Tyova, who was appointed in September last year.
