Israeli forces detain Palestinian youth from Ramallah
(MENAFN) Israeli soldiers have detained a Palestinian youth for his suspected participation in the murder of a settler near Jerusalem, according to Israeli Police on Saturday.
In a statement, the police stated the suspect was detained in an attack in the West Bank city of Ramallah late Friday and transferred into custody for questioning.
On Thursday, a female settler had been discovered dead in a forest close to Jerusalem with stab injuries on her body.
While Israeli media cited "nationalist reasons" for the murder, the police released a gag order about the case.
