China remains Mongolia's main export destination


(MENAFN) China remains Mongolia's top export destination, accounting for 66 percent of the country's total exports in 2018.

According to Mongolian Customs General Administration, the country's exports to China increased by USD811.2 million, or 13.1 percent year on year, while imports increased by USD1.5 billion, or 35.5 percent.

The bilateral trade reached USD8.4 billion, increasing by 26.8 percent year on year, the administration added.

Mongolia's major export items to China include coal, copper and molybdenum concentrates, wool and cashmere.
