Doha: Qatar Airways has congratulated Qatar's national team for winning the 2019 AFC Asian Cup. This marks an incredible milestone for Qatar's national team, as it is the first time the team has ever won the AFC Asian Cup. The victory came on the back of an incredible run where the team won six games without conceding a single goal.
To celebrate this momentous occasion, Qatar Airways announced a special discount of up to 25 percent on fares. Privilege Club members will also have the opportunity to earn up to double Qmiles and Qpoints. The sale will be valid from February 3 February 14, 2019, with travel validity from February 3 August 31, 2019.
In addition, Qatar Duty Free (QDF) will be offering a special two week-long sale from Saturday February 2 February 14, 2019, with a 20 percent discount on purchases at QDF stores.

Qatar's national team, shrewdly managed by Félix Sánchez, has truly inspired all of us with their resilience, dignity and footballing skill.

On Friday, Qatar Airways held a public viewing of the final match, at the Airport Park next to Qatar Airways' headquarters. Families and individuals from across Doha came together to cheer for Qatar's national football team.
