(MENAFN- Arab Times) Weather to improve gradually, lower temperature anticipated

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 17, (KUNA): Kuwait Meteorological Department official Yasser Al-Bolushi said that a gradual improvement in weather conditions was expected by Thursday afternoon, with a remarkable decline in temperature.

Speaking to KUNA, Al-Bolushi said today's weather is affected by strong north westerly winds exceeding 70 kilometers per hour (km/h), causing rising dust storms and decrease in horizontal visibility to less than 1,000m and sea wave height may exceed seven feet. He expected maximum temperatures to be between 14 to 18 degrees Celsius. At night, the weather will be very cold with light to moderate freshening at times north westerly wind, with speed of 15 - 40 km/h, he added.
