Jordan takes part in a cultural event in Bahrain

Manama, Dec. 27 (Petra) - A number of Jordanian libraries and publishing houses are participating in the 25 the Al-Ayyam Cultural Festival, which opened Thursday in Manama and is organized by Bahrai's daily newspaper, Al Ayam.

The Head of the Organizing Committee of the festival, Ghassan Momani, told Petra reporter in Manama that 350 pavilions from 17 Arab and foreign countries are taking part in the 10-day event.

The books showcased in the fair cover diverse academic, cultural, intellectual and political topics, Momani noted, calling on new publishers to contribute in diversifying the exhibits to meet the readers' various interests.
