Nicaraguan police use force in separating reporters


(MENAFN) Nicaraguan Police are said to have kicked and roughened many reporters who were demonstrating against operations on their offices.

The reporters took place outside a police station in the capital Managua, complaining that operations on the offices of a news website were not authorized.

Witnesses claimed that riot police wielding batons have separated them using force.

Nicaragua has been rattled by months of demonstrations against President Daniel Ortega.
