Hyundai to put efforts on reviving U.S., China sales in 2019

(MENAFN) Hyundai Motor Group will shed the light on reviving sales in the United States and China in 2019 by giving more flexibility to its regional business headquarters.

The decision comes amid weakening business environments such as the current U.S.-China trade dispute, planned rate hikes in the U.S. and rapidly changing customer taste for vehicles.

The South Korean automaker plans to launch new sport utility vehicle models in the two important automobile markets next year to boost overall sales.

Hyundai Motor and its affiliate Kia Motors Corp. plan to introduce the Palisade flagship SUV and the Telluride SUV, respectively, in the U.S. market early next year.
