Kuwait's Abdulrazeq comes second at UAE's Sharjah aquabike tournament


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) DUBAI, Dec 14 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's racer Yusuf Al-Abdulrazeq won the second place at the UIM-ABP Aquabike World Championship -- Grand Prix of UAE's Sharjah that concluded late Friday.

Abdulrazeq also snatched the trophy of the second place in the final round of the event in which world champion Jeremy Perez of France came first, while the third place went to Italy's Lorenzo Bengalia.

Speaking to KUNA, Abdulrazeq expressed his happiness for making this achievement in the event, which featured more than 100 racers.

He added that his new achievement strengthens his status in the Guinness World Records at the level of senior professionals.

Abdulrazzeq is the first Kuwaiti, Arab and Asian racer who joined the Guinness World Records for winning nine titles at world championships at the level of senior professionals. (end) smr.hm
