Egypt to join hands with KSA, UAE to set up major digital library


(MENAFN) Egypt, Saudi Arabia and the UAE decided to join hands in the establishment of the world's biggest digital library.

Egypt's media advisor at the Ministry of Education, Ahmed Saber confirmed the decision which was declared in Dubai at the Knowledge Summit 2018.

The major summit, which was held December 5-6, was themed "Youth and the Future of the Knowledge Economy".

The library, unveiled Education Minister Tarek Shawky, is to feature a digital platform which is to be formed to connect the Egyptian Knowledge Bank, the Saudi Digital Library and the Dubai Digital Library.

The banks will be linked so as to present students and researchers with information resources and services.
