Algeria, Saudi Arabia to initiate 5 economic plans


(MENAFN) Algeria and Saudi Arabia decided to join hands in the commencement of five initiatives related to fields of economy.

During a trip Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud made to Algeria, the two countries agreed to begin the implementation of the five planned economic projects next year.

The two sides reached the agreement on the projects in Algiers during the 12th Algerian-Saudi Business Forum.

The initiatives were confirmed to be focusing on the production inorganic chemicals, chlorine and caustic soda employed in water purification.

The plans cover a USD10 million pharmaceutical industry project, a USD20 million healthy-paper plant, as well as manufacturing juices.
