Kuwaiti oil price down USD 1.55 to USD 57.72 pb


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) KUWAIT, Nov 30 (KUNA) -- The price of Kuwait's crude oil went down USD 1.55 Thursday to stand at USD 57.72 per barrel (pb) compared to USD 59.27 pb the day before, said Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC).

Global oil prices were up last night, reaching two percent higher after sources from the oil industry said Russia would accept lowering production by OPEC during meeting next week.

Meanwhile, Brent Blend contracts went up 75 cents to settle at USD 59.51 pb, as well as the West intermediate contracts with an increase of USD 1.16 to settle at 51.45 pb. (end) ad.mb
