Amman, Nov. 24 (Petra) -- Minister of State, for Media Affairs, Jumana Ghnaimat, said the electronic "Haqqak Ti3raf" (your right to know) platform aims to detect and respond to rumors and false news and information.
Ghnaimat added that the platform reflects the government's belief that delivering accurate information is the only means to respond to rumors and refute them as they disturb people's life and future.
The platform, she added, was not launched to cancel the role of ministries and public institutions in responding to questions and comments through media spokespersons, but only to respond to rumors.
