Doha: Former World No.3 Omar Mosaad of Egypt and England Daryl Selby will clash in today's final of the QSF No.1 PSA Bronze tournament at the Khalifa International tennis and Squash Complex.

In yesterday's semi-finals, Mosaad and Selby registered contrasting wins over George Parker of England and Greg Lobban of Scotland respectively.

The 30-year-old Mosaad, who will be looking to pick up his 11 career title in Qatar, took 46 minutes to dispatch the challenge of Parker in four games.

England's World No.44 Parker failed to extend his impressive form of the week, he started off strongly taking the first game but thereafter Mosaad dictated terms to push the Englishman on the defensive. Mosaad won 4-11, 11-7, 11-5, 11-6.

In the other semi-final, Selby took 65 minutes to overcome the challenge of Lobban in a five-game thriller.

World No.32 Lobban, who downed number two seed Germany's Raphael Kandra in straight-games to reach his second semi-final of 2018 on Monday started on a fluent note by taking the first game at 11-3, but Selby bounced back and pocketed the second and third through identical scores of 11-3.

Lobban, however did not thrown in the towel but fought back to draw level int eh fourth to take the match into the fifth and deciding game.

In the deciding game, Selby kept his cool in crucial moments of the match to win 3-11, 11-3, 11-3, 9-11, 11-8 and set up the title match with Mosaad.

The final starts at 6.00pm.

Meanwhile, Nottingham-based Declan James has moved up four places to World No.16 to become England's No.1 male player after the PSA Men's World Rankings.

James reached the third round of the FS Investments US Open Squash Championships and the second round of the Channel VAS Championships during October, where he proved to be a stern test for World No.3 Tarek Momen and World No.2 Ali Farag, respectively.

Those performances have seen him leapfrog compatriot and former World No.1 James Willstrop in the rankings, while the current holder of the World No.1 spot Egypt's Mohamed ElShorbagy tops the rankings for a ninth successive month. Ali Farag (No.2), Marwan ElShorbagy (No.3), Tarek Momen (No.4) and Simon Rösner retain their places in an unchanged top five, while France's Gregory Gaultier moves up a place to No.6, trading places with Colombia's Miguel Angel Rodriguez. New Zealand's Paul Coll stays at No.8, while former World Champion Karim Abdel Gawad rises to No.9 to overtake fellow Egyptian Mohamed Abouelghar, who completes the top 10.

India's Saurav Ghosal stays at No.11 ahead of Peru's Diego Elias, who moves up a place to No.12, Australia's Ryan Cuskelly, who rises three places to No.13, Hong Kong's Max Lee (No.14) and Egypt's Ramy Ashour (No.15).

2015 World Championship runner-up Omar Mosaad has fallen five places to No.17, with Willstrop (No.18), Nicolas Mueller (No.19) and Raphael Kandra rounding off the top 20.

Rhyl-based Tesni Evans has become the first Welsh woman ever to break into the world's top 10 after the PSA Women's World Rankings. Evans made history last month in Philadelphia as she became the first Welsh player to reach the semi-finals of the FS Investments US Open Squash Championships.
