UAE- Sharjah Centre for Astronomy and Space Sciences holds tech workshops

SHARJAH, 17th October, 2018 (WAM) -- The Sharjah Centre for Astronomy and Space Sciences organised two workshops on Systems Tool Kit, STK, by Diogo Rodrigues, Middle East and North Africa Director of Analytical Graphics Incorporated.
The workshops covered various topics related to the use of the STK software in global navigation satellite systems, GNSS, constellations simulation including GPS, GLONASS satellite system, Galileo system; CubeSat simulations; and space mission geometry, design, and analysis.
workshop attendees were guided on the use of STK software and encouraged to develop their critical thinking skills to master the techniques necessary to both conceptualise and operate satellites in future space missions.
Insights into the process of breaking up challenges faced in performing complex analyses related to space missions through a system of collecting facts, performing analyses, generating assumptions, and gathering documentation which is then presented in simpler terms to the users, also took place.
