3 women cut off ears of another woman in Lakki Marwat


(MENAFN- Tribal News Network) LAKKI MARWAT: Three women allegedly cut off the ears of a neighbour woman after a quarrel in Lakki Marwat on Tuesday, police said.

The incident happened in the jurisdiction of Darra Pezu Police Station where the wife of Hakeem Khan and her two daughters allegedly cut off the ears of 25-year-old wife of Muzaffar Khan with a sharp-edged weapon and also snatched her mobile phone and ear rings. The victim woman was waiting for a vehicle on the road to go to the city for medical treatment when she was attacked by the three women. The woman said she was rescued by the people of the village.

The cause of this extreme step is stated to be some old dispute between the two families. The husband of the victim woman is labourer in Karachi.

Police after filing the report has arrested the three accused women and also recovered the sharp-edged weapon used in the crime. Further investigation into the case is underway.
